Join us in wishing Jim a happy farewell as he is our outgoing Board Chair.  Thank you for everything\, Jim!\n\nWe will be making Christmas Cookies and Spiked Egg Nog during the Zoom!  If you would like to cook and sip along\, here are the recipies:\n\nEgg Nog Martini:\n\nTo make a pitcher (9 servings):\n\n- 1-quart eggnog\n\n- 12 oz whiskey\n\n- 1.5 oz white rum\n\n- Fresh nutmeg to grate over the finished drink\n\nMix all ingredients together\, put in the fridge\, and chill\n\nTo make 1 Egg Nog Martini:\n\n- 3.5 oz eggnog\n\n- 1.4 oz whiskey \n\n- 0.25 oz white rum\n\n \n\nHoliday Peanut Butter Cookies\n\n\n\nINGREDIENTS\n\n1 large egg\n\n1 cup unsweetened peanut butter crunchy or creamy\n\n2/3 cup coconut sugar\n\n2 Tbsp pure maple syrup\n\n1 tsp pure vanilla extract\n\n1/2 tsp baking soda\n\n1/2 tsp sea salt\n\n2   cups all-purpose flour\n\nDirections: \n\nPreheat oven to 375 degrees\n\nCream butter\, peanut butter\, and sugars together in a bowl\; beat in eggs.\n\nIn a separate bowl\, sift flour\, baking powder\, baking soda\, and salt\; stir into butter mixture. Put dough in refrigerator for 1 hour. \n\nRoll dough into 1 inch balls and put on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork\, making a crisscross pattern.\n\nBake in a preheated 375 degrees oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown.\n\n \n\nGluten Free Recipe\n\n\n\nINGREDIENTS\n\n1 large egg\n\n1 cup unsweetened peanut butter crunchy or creamy\n\n2/3 cup coconut sugar\n\n2 Tbsp pure maple syrup\n\n1 tsp pure vanilla extract\n\n1/2 tsp baking soda\n\n1/2 tsp sea salt\n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS\n\nPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F.\n\nIn a mixer or a mixing bowl\, combine all of the ingredients until well-incorporated.\n\nRoll 1-inch sized balls out of the dough and place them on a lightly-oiled or parchment-lined baking sheet.\n\nUsing a fork\, gently make two impressions in the dough forming a criss cross and flattening out the balls just slightly.\n\nBake for 8 to 10 minutes or to desired level of crisp. For chewier cookies\, bake 7 to 8 minutes\, and for crispier cookies\, bake 10 to11 minutes.\n\n\n\nAllow the cookies to cool on the cookie sheet at least 10 minutes\n\nBefore removing them with a spatula. Since these cookies do not contain flour\, they need some time to "set up" or else they will fall apart easily
