DESCRIPTION:Please join us on the first Thursday of every month for our Continuing Education Monthly Breakfast Series. \n\n\n\n\nThe Monthly Breakfast is designed to bring impactful information of a non-sales nature to the members of the chamber.  We hope the presentation will be a complete presentation in such that each attendee can walk away gaining insightful information or skills that can be utilized right away.\n\n\n\nSilvia Huffman has been with the City of Fountain for 22 years. Her starting position was a temporary receptionist in 1999. She is now the City Clerk and Park & Recreation Director. In her position of the City Clerk\, she oversees business licenses\, liquor licenses\, elections\, and tries to wrestle City Council. Changing her hat to the Park and Recreation Director she is involved in numerous large park projects and recreation growth. She is a Colorado native and has 4 sons and 2 granddaughters. She is happily married to a business development entrepreneur and consistently gives him unsolicited advice. Her mantra is "just listen" she believes that most knowledge comes from surrounding yourself with those smarter than you and to listen. She accomplished completing a degree in Public Administration this last November.
