SUMMARY:Monthly Breakfast Series: Demographics and How They Affect Everything
DESCRIPTION:State demographer Rob Kemp\, PhD will speak on the past\, present\, and future statistics for Metro Denver and Colorado and how they impact our infrastructure\, benefit systems\, housing and everything else we touch.\n\n\n\nRob Kemp joined the State Demography Office of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs in November of 2013 as the Estimates Demographer.  Rob produces population estimates by county\, municipality\, and Conservation Trust Fund receiving special district.  Current areas of additional research are in migration\, generational differences\, demographic methods\, and data visualization and dissemination.  Prior to joining the State Demography Office\, Rob worked at the Institute for Behavioral Science and Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado at Boulder\, where he received his Ph.D. with a Certificate in Demography in 2015.  Rob received his BA in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.  Rob is a native Coloradan\, growing up in the Littleton area.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us for our Monthly Breakfast Series.  We bring in dynamic speakers to present timely information to our members about topics that matter to YOU!  Breakfast is included in the registration cost.
