Breakfast Series: A Sneak Peek at the 2016 Legislative Session

 In preparation of the upcoming legislative session, DGLCC members have the tremendous opportunity to hear first-hand a review of pending legislative issues from veteran lobbyist Jeff Thormodsgaard.

Jeff Thormodsgaard is Principle of Precision Policy Group. Jeff has been a dynamic policy strategist and campaign specialist for over ten years. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a double major in Constitutional Law and Political Science, Jeff began his legislative career as a legislative aide for two Alaska State Legislators, with an emphasis in health care and natural resources. 

After returning to Colorado he initially worked with the Colorado State Legislature as the legislative aide to the Chair of the Colorado House Education Committee and most recently as Vice President and partner at Mendez Consulting Inc., a legislative consulting firm.

Over the past several years in Colorado, Jeff has championed numerous issues such as Marriage Equality, Syringe Access legalization, and general legislation impacting the LGBT community.
