The Denver Women's Chorus is proud to present 'Classically Reconstructed'. This is a concert about how different genres of music draw from classical music to create new sounds and new stories. Along the way, you'll hear a little about what inspired classical composers like Brahms, Bach, and Dvorak. Did you know that many of the themes in classical music were drawn from folk songs and popular music? Did you know that the famous opera The 'Marriage of Figaro' was inspired by the revolutionary fervor of its time and was banned in Vienna?
