Event Description:
The choruses of Rocky Mountain Arts Association join forces to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, a seminal event that gave birth to the gay rights movement in the United States. The combined ensembles will premiere a newly-commissioned choral work commemorating this 1969 landmark event with five performances throughout the Denver metropolitan area. In late June, DGMC and DWC travel to New York City to join more than 500 singers from GALA choruses across the United States in a special performance of Quiet No More at Carnegie Hall.
