Bar Wars - Battle of the Bars 2017

Bar Wars is the one day a year when your favorite bartenders from various bars come together under one roof to pull out all the stops in a dazzling display of technical mixing mastery – and YOU are the judge! Only one bartender from each participating bar will go to Bar Wars, so be sure to send your favorite bartender to battle by purchasing $1 voting placards at the participating bars. On the afternoon of May 20th, the bartender with the most votes at each participating bar will compete in mixology competitions by mixing original cocktail recipes in five categories. Event goers can grab a wrist band for a $15 donation to the Denver Colorado AIDS Project. The wristbands will allow you to sample each bartender's drink in all mixology categories – that’s more than 30 cocktail recipes - and then cast your vote for your favorite! Your taste buds will decide which bartender in the Mile High comes out as number one. You'll also be able to cast your vote for your favorite flair and presentation routine. Tossing, spinning, juggling, flaming creations, mixing routines to signature songs…anything and everything is possible when it comes to this compelling display of extreme bartending. The unique duo of Gabriella But'zin and Lala Shearz will host this event and you will have access to food and other surprises that will make this one of the most entertaining events you've ever attended!
