It's Christmas 1183, and England’s King Henry II (Peter O'Toole) is planning to announce his successor to the throne. Henry has three sons and wants his youngest Prince John (Nigel Terry) to take over. Henry's exiled wife, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine (Best Actress Academy Award winner Katharine Hepburn), has other ideas. She believes their eldest living son Prince Richard (Sir Anthony Hopkins) should be King. As the family and various schemers gather for the holiday, each tries to make his or her case. Anthony Harvey directs the big screen version of the famous play with an award-winning score by John Barry. Curated and hosted by Elevations Credit Union’s own Community Development Manager, Jeffrey Kash, this series brings the classics to the big screen in the community room of Elevations’ offices at 1 Environmental Way in Broomfield, near Flatiron Crossing Mall.
